A lesbian gig-theatre play where real stories come to life in the middle of a club night.
Five GIRLKISSERs.

Set against the East London music scene, this is gig theatre that throws you straight into it — live music, dancing, parties, and yes… a lot of kissing.
Joyful, chaotic, and painfully real.
★★★★ “We hear their young perspective on being queer… joy is a common theme throughout.” — Everything Theatre
★★★★ “Moving moments came through the live music and songs.” — A Scene With Eithne

🎭 OPENING NIGHT – DRAGONFLY GIRLS
A bittersweet and deeply moving new play exploring family, care, and what happens when the role that defines you begins to slip away.
Tonight, we step into one evening in a quiet living room - where two sisters sit, wait, and confront everything left unsaid.
Laura has spent years caring for her grandmother. Now, as that journey nears its end, she must face a different kind of unknown: reconnecting with her sister, and learning who she is beyond being a carer.
💔 Tender, honest, and quietly devastating, Dragonfly Girls dives into sisterhood, trauma, and the long shadow of the past.
✨ From The Lighthouse Ensemble, this is their fourth new work no — and one not to miss.#

Arthur & Marilyn
When an actress marries a playwright, there’s bound to be drama.
1956. What happened when America’s most famous celebrity married America’s most celebrated playwright? This gripping new play dives inside the turbulent relationship between Marilyn Monroe and Arthur Miller - from its passionate beginnings to its painful end.
Determined to be taken seriously as an actress, Marilyn moves to New York and enrols at the Actors Studio. Soon after she begins an affair with Arthur Miller - just as he is called before the House of Un-American Activities Committee. Marilyn publicly supports him, risking her own career in the process.
They marry. But even at the beginning, cracks appear.
As fame, politics, drink and drugs begin to take their toll, their relationship slowly unravels — culminating during the making of The Misfits, the film Miller wrote especially for her.
Love match or mis-match?

🎭 OPENING NIGHT at the Lion & Unicorn Theatre
The Red Prince is a sharp new comedy about loneliness, inadequacy and the people we elect to run our country.
Craig Kitman MP did not sign up for this.
Eighteen months after a “loveless landslide” sweeps him into Parliament, he is drowning in votes he does not understand, constituents he cannot help, abuse, failure and late night drinking sessions. One man. One constituency office. Wondering how he got here, and how the hell he gets out.
Then a terrier like journalist calls.
Things are about to get a lot worse.
Written by Tim Dawson, whose BBC Radio 4 drama was described as “a sparkling politico personal drama with a witty sculpted script”.
Directed by Susan Nickson, creator of Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps.

🎭 OPENING NIGHT at the Lion & Unicorn Theatre
Step inside the cut throat world of 21st century couture as Ze Emperor struts and schemes his way through the fashion industry in pursuit of the next big thing.
When his latest collection falls flat, Berlin’s most ruthless designer needs a comeback. Rumours of a revolutionary new fabric from an innovative Parisian duo might just save his reputation and restore him to global fashion domination.
From Baby Lamb Productions, EXPÖSED is a tongue in cheek adaptation of The Emperor’s New Clothes, transplanted to the dog eat dog world of high fashion. Expect larger than life characters, a feel good soundtrack and plenty of silly jokes.
Following sell out runs at the Bread & Roses Theatre and Canal Cafe Theatre, and OFFIE finalist status in 2023, this sharp and stylish comedy runs until Saturday.

📡 INTRODUCING HERE | FOR 📡
@proforcatheatre & @landutheatre announces HERE | FOR (2026).
Here For New Work | Here for Growing Companies | Here For The Future.
A supported mini-season of new work at the Lion & Unicorn Theatre, taking place across four consecutive weeks in October 2026.
HERE | FOR is designed to pass on the experience we’ve gained over the last ten years and to offer the kind of genuine leg-up we wished we’d had.
At a time when long-term subsidy is increasingly difficult to secure and pathways from fringe to mid-scale work are narrowing, HERE | FOR exists to provide meaningful, practical support to companies who have already begun to establish themselves and are ready to take high-quality work to its next stage.
The programme will support three independent theatre companies to create and premiere brand new pieces of work for public audiences, alongside a new Proforca Theatre Company production.
Each selected company will receive:
🌐 A £1,000 cash contribution towards a new show
🌐 One week of free rehearsal space,
🌐 A five-night performance run in London
🌐 A one-night performance in Birmingham @ojstheatre
🌐 Technical and dress rehearsal time,
🌐 A risk-free box office split,
🌐 PR and marketing support,
🌐 mentorship from award-winning producers and industry mentors, and a dedicated press night.

🎭 Opens tonight
A love letter to diaries, doubt and the drama of being young.
It’s 1984. You’re 16, going on 17. Life is mixtapes, homework, first crushes and big existential questions. Inspired by My Teenage Diary on BBC Radio 4, Kentish Town’s @sebmerrick opens his adolescent journals to revisit the awkward, nostalgic and often hilariously middling realities of growing up in Thatcher’s Britain.
Set against Ghostbusters, Billy Joel’s Uptown Girl and a world that feels both smaller and impossibly vast, this one man time capsule blends teenage angst with warmth, wit and a knowing wink. What really happened in 1984? Not much. And yet… everything.
✨ “Erudite and youthful… like a more self aware and highbrow Adrian Mole.” Colin Bass
✨ “An amazing collection of memories… poignant, funny and insightful.” Mr Stollery, 1984
